Writing Services - Cambridge Campus
Welcome to the Academic Support Center--Writing Services!
Whether you are a published author or a struggling novice, we provide support and guidance to help you succeed in academia. We provide free, walk-in tutoring for all Anoka-Ramsey students working on English assignments and other writing projects.
During the academic year, the English 0890 and English 0950 classes may have a Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader to provide sessions outside of the regular class time. These voluntary sessions are geared for students seeking additional assistance, clarification, or discussion regarding various writing assignments. Typically, the instructor will provide specifics regarding the availability of an SI leader during the first week of class. Please inquire in D208 for additional information about the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program on the Cambridge Campus.

Academic Support Center - Writing Services: Important Information
With any course and assignment, students are advised to seek input and assistance from their instructors. However, due to an array of circumstances, students may be unable to meet face-to-face with them. This is where the Academic Support Center becomes an essential resource for college students. While our tutors cannot replace your instructors or course requirements, they can provide resources for academic success and assignment completion. For assistance, please visit the Academic Support Center (D 208) located near the Information Desk at the Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
PLEASE NOTE: Outside of regular tutoring hours, we are pleased to provide online access to SmarThinking. This service is accessible 24 hours per day and requires a username, password, and short registration form. Tutoring services and essay/paper submissions are available in most academic areas of study. Please call 763-433-1990 or stop by the Academic Support Center (D 208) for additional information regarding registration and technology specifications.
