Employee Network Accounts


Employee Network Account

Every employee is provided with a Network account which allows you to login to a college computer on campus.  If this is your first time logging in on campus you'll need to get your account information from your supervisor or dean.   

Usernames follow the following naming convention

    • First six characters of your last name followed by the first two characters of your first name.
    • Pat Hanson would be hansonpa
    • Usernames are not case sensitive

Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include 3 of the following

    • Lower case letters
    • Upper case letters
    • Numbers
    • Special characters (For example, - * ! +) 

Changing Your Network Password

Every employee is required to change their password every ninety (90) days.

From off campus

From on campus

    • While logged in, simultaneously press Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys to click the Change Password option
    • You can reset your password by bringing a picture ID to a staff member in either campus (Cambridge F207 or Coon Rapids T124).

Logging in on Campus

To login to a college computer:

    1. Simultaneously press Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys to open the login dialog box
    2. In the Username field, enter your eight character username 
    3. Enter your Password.  If you forgot your password go to https://www.anokaramsey.edu/it/secure/password_reset_staff.cfm 
    4. Click OK
    5. Congratulations! You are now logged in.
