This program is designed for transfer to a bachelor’s degree in music. Students may choose an elective course related to music education, music therapy, or music business. This AFA degree will transfer to Minnesota State University–Mankato, Augsburg College, St. Cloud State University, and McNally Smith College of Music. It may transfer in part or in entirety to other  baccalaureate institutions. For assistance in program planning, or to explore additional transfer options, students should pick up an updated transfer guide for music majors in the Counseling and Advising Office and meet with a counselor or advisor.

Developmental Courses

Some students may need preparatory courses in the areas of English, mathematics, or reading. Courses numbered below 1000 will not apply toward this degree.
