Current on-campus classes can be taught at your company!

  • Lean 5S: Practical Success
5S is a methodology designed to provide a safe, clean, orderly, high performance work environment. Learn how to implement 5S, but more importantly, how to sustain 5S in this highly interactive workshop. This workshop includes proven tools and techniques of Lean through an interactive business simulation designed to demonstrate the efficiency of Lean. While learning the more advanced tools of Lean, you will see great improvements in your organization.
  • Lean: Standard Work
Standard Work is the most productive, safe and accurate way to do work. Standard work makes processes predictable, repeatable and is the basis for accountability, abnormality detection and future improvement. In Standard Work participants learn the value of standard work and the process of creating it in the classroom and on the shop floor.
  • Setup Reduction
The purpose of this workshop is to teach and guide you through the process of creating effective set-up reduction systems.  This will involve training, planning and changes in the way information and inventory is managed today.  We expect that you will leave this workshop with a thorough understanding of set-up reduction systems and the ability to implement them in other parts of the business.
  • Total Productive Maintenance
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a foundational tool of Lean Six Sigma.  TPM is a new way of looking at maintenance on a mass scale.  TPM is a proactive approach that essentially aims to prevent any kind of slack before occurrence.
  • Product, Process and Preparation (3P)
Lean experts typically view 3P as one of the most powerful and transformational advanced manufacturing tools.  3P seeks to meet customer requirements by starting with a clean product development slate to rapidly create and test potential product and process designs that require the least time, material and capital resources.  Learn how to apply 3P in your own situation.
