Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Foundation annual scholarship fundraiser, Prairie Home Delights, is set for Thursday, Oct. 8, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Courtyards of Andover in Andover, Minn.

Everyone who supports education in the East Central Minnesota region is invited to join the fun. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door and include silent and live auctions, music and mingling, delicious hors d’oeuvres, entrée and dessert samples served by area restaurants and wine tasting.

The live and silent auctions will include numerous, interesting items for good-spirited bidding, such as: 

•  wine baskets

•  a “morning energizer” basket

•  a “pink” basket

• a holiday basket

• collections of books on CD

• a birthday party at Lily Pad Ceramics

• tool project kits

• drill and reciprocating saw set

• a power rake and vacuum

• a picnic basket

• collector’s items including a framed print

• original glasswork and ceramics by Anoka-Ramsey students

•  gift certificates to area restaurants

• 18-hole golf passes

• a mountain bike

• jewelry by Goulds

• a dinner prepared by Natalie Steffen and Tony Palumbo (featured in the Star Tribune for their charity dinners)

• a wine-tasting and dinner
