College Scholardazzle Fundraiser Hits New Heights

February 03, 2012

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College annual Cambridge Campus Foundation Scholardazzle fundraiser Jan. 20 raised more than $31,400 in gross revenue, breaking last year’s record of $26,500.

Event chairs Roger Anderson and Brad Larson credit the committee and the community for their hard work and consistently generous support of the event.

The event, organized by the Cambridge Campus Foundation Board of Directors and college faculty and staff, drew more than 175 people to help raise money for scholarships for local students attending the college.

Thanks to the strong support of the community, numerous volunteers and staff, attendees enjoyed a gourmet dinner at the Spectacular Events Banquet Center in Isanti, musical entertainment by college Music Faculty members Eric Anderson, Melissa Bergstrom, Sam Bergstrom, Steve Lyons, Ric Perkins and Jason Vanselow.

In addition, raffles, silent and live auctions of goods and services donated by area organizations and individuals.
